Specialised Training Co is one of Australia's most comprehensive specialist training providers — delivering nationally recognised qualifications, skill sets, and units of competency across more than 20 industry pathways.

We've been doing this for 17 years. Around 5,000 statements of attainment issued every year. Our model is built around the workplace — candidates train in real environments under the supervision of an approved workplace mentor, assessed against the national standard.

Training that happens at work,
not in a classroom.

Most of our training is delivered in the workplace. You train where you work — or where you want to work. We provide the framework, the logbook, and the sign-off process. You provide the commitment.

Here's how it works across our four delivery pathways:

Workplace & Traineeships

You train in your workplace under an approved mentor. We set it up, support it, and assess it.

School-Based

Nationally recognised VET qualifications alongside secondary education. Most pathways available.

Intensive Delivery

Structured blocks of face-to-face training where circumstances require it. Available across all pathways.

RPL

Already doing the work? Convert your experience into a formal credential. Available at every level.

Full qualifications across every major print method. RPL is the primary pathway for candidates already in the industry.

Animal Care, Equine & Wildlife

Certificate I through Certificate IV across animal care, equine management, veterinary nursing, and animal behaviour.

Hospitality & Commercial Cookery

Certificate II through Advanced Diploma. RSA, food safety, commercial cookery, kitchen management. Traineeship options available.

Electrical, Renewable Energy & Gas

Electrotechnology trade training and a growing renewable energy pathway.
